4. Product Images and Colour Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure product images and descriptions are accurate.

However, variations may occur due to:

  • Fabric batch differences

  • Natural wood grain variation

These variations are normal and do not constitute defects.

5. Quotations and Orders

Prices are not displayed on this website.

All pricing is provided by quotation only.

Quotations are typically valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated.

Once an order has been confirmed and production has commenced, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

All prices are supplied via quotation and may be subject to:

  • Delivery or transport charges

  • Installation or handling costs if required

Prices may vary depending on order quantities and specifications.

Donegal Contract Furniture reserves the right to revise quotations if order specifications change after the quotation has been issued.

7. Payment Terms

Payment terms may vary depending on the nature of the order.

Typical payment terms include:

  • A deposit prior to production, and

  • The remaining balance payable prior to delivery or dispatch

Payment methods may include:

  • Bank transfer

  • Approved trade accounts where applicable

Failure to meet agreed payment terms may result in delays, suspension, or cancellation of the order.

8. Lead Times

Lead times provided are estimates only.

Production and delivery times may vary due to:

  • Manufacturing schedules

  • Custom upholstery or finishes

  • Shipping or transport delays

While we aim to meet estimated delivery dates, these cannot be guaranteed.

9. Delivery

Delivery arrangements will be agreed at the time of order.

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • Adequate access for delivery vehicles

  • Safe unloading conditions

  • Suitable delivery locations

Additional charges may apply where:

  • Delivery access is restricted

  • Re-delivery is required

  • Storage of goods becomes necessary

Risk in the goods transfers to the customer upon delivery.

10. Inspection of Goods

Any damages, shortages, or defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Where possible, photographic evidence should be provided.

Failure to report issues within this timeframe may affect our ability to investigate or resolve the issue.

11. Returns and Cancellations

Due to the nature of contract furniture supply, many of our products are manufactured specifically for each order.

Made-to-Order Products

Products that are built to order, customised, upholstered, or manufactured in specific quantities for a project cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded once production has begun.

This includes products with:

  • Selected fabrics or upholstery

  • Custom finishes or stains

  • Special dimensions

  • Bespoke specifications

  • Project-based quantities

Customers are responsible for ensuring all specifications are correct before confirming their order.

Standard Products

Returns of standard products may only be accepted at the sole discretion of Donegal Contract Furniture and must be authorised in writing before any return is arranged.

Where returns are approved:

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging

  • Items must be returned in resaleable condition

  • The customer is responsible for all return transport costs

A restocking fee may apply.

Return Costs

All costs associated with returns, including transport, handling, and logistics, are the responsibility of the customer.

Donegal Contract Furniture will not be responsible for return costs unless goods are confirmed to be faulty.

Change of Mind

Returns due to change of mind, project cancellation, or design changes cannot be accepted once an order has been confirmed.

12. Warranty

Our furniture is designed for commercial hospitality use.

Warranty terms may vary depending on the product or manufacturer.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Improper use or misuse

  • Damage caused during transport or installation by third parties

  • Incorrect maintenance

Warranty claims may require supporting photographs or documentation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DM Contracts & North Shore Interiors LTD shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Loss of business or revenue

  • Loss of profits

  • Project delays caused by third-party factors

Our liability shall not exceed the value of the goods supplied.
